Meet Dr. Yi-Ju Chen
Dr. Chen attended National Yang-Ming University where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Chen worked as a General Dentist for one year, then began her pediatric dentistry training. Desiring work with children, she pursued more advanced training and completed pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Chen completed residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a Pediatric Dental Fellowship at the University of Maryland. She worked as a clinical instructor and had the honor of treating underserved children. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
After over 20 years working with children, Dr. Chen is still passionate about continuing education. This enables her to be on the cutting edge allowing her to meet the needs of her young patients and help them grow healthier and happier. Dr. Chen also has heart for special needs patients, and she is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese. She is excited to serve families in the Wylie and surrounding areas!
