Meet Dr. Adam Preece
Dr. Preece completed his undergraduate schooling at Weber State University in Ogden, UT before moving onto Ohio State University for dental school. While at Ohio State, he realized that he really enjoyed working with children. As a result, he completed a two-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Today, he is Board-Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has been on the staff at Children’s Health Dallas/Plano since 2010.
Dr. Preece has always loved biological sciences, and he also had great experiences at the dentist’s office as a kid himself, which first ignited his interest in the field. He has seven dentists in his family overall – four general dentists, two pediatric dentists, and one endodontist! Over time, all these factors led to him embarking on the very same career path, and he couldn’t be happier with that decision today. His favorite thing about pediatric dentistry is the relationships with families and helping kids have great oral health.
Dr. Preece was born in Honolulu, HI and lived in several different states throughout his early years due to his father’s service in the Air Force. Today, he and his beautiful wife Marci have four boys of their own named Isiac, Henry, Quinn, and Cannon. Outside of working hours, he enjoys going on weekly date nights with Marci, watching the boys play various sports from the bleachers, cheering on the Buckeyes, snow skiing, and playing ice hockey.
